Jackson Wright is the son of Kennley and Melissa Wright. Brooke, Mason, Kaysi, and Ava are his four siblings. His favorite thing to do with his family is go on a trip in the summertime. He admires his parents the most because they have taught him almost everything he knows. Jackson’s most valued possession is his snowmobile. He says riding the snowmobile is his favorite thing to do outside of school. This year has not been the best year for riding! The accomplishment that he is most proud of is receiving Academic All-State.

When Emily Williams was younger she wanted to be an author. She loves reading and cannot live without books! Given that she loves books so much, it makes sense that her pet peeve is when someone tries to talk to her when she’s reading! Her favorite food is Chinese, and she isn’t a fan of spicy food. She says she has a bad habit of staying up late on her phone or consuming too much caffeine!

Congratulations to Senior Jenna Olson for making All-State Band for the 3rd year in a row! She will be representing Colman-Egan as she plays her French Horn with other outstanding South Dakota musicians like her! Congratulations Jenna!

Congratulations to the following Colman-Egan Girls State
Delegates! The Colman Unit of the American Legion Auxiliary will
sponsor Kaylee Voelker and the Egan Unit will sponsor Presley Luze,
Elaina Rhode, Savanna Schmidt, Kaitlyn Taggart, and Brooke
Wright. Girls State will be held on the campus of the University of
South Dakota June 3-8, 2024.

The Colman-Egan Hawks GBB team advanced to the Region finals in Salem, SD tonight, Thursday, February 22nd.

            7:30 – #2 Colman-Egan vs. #3 Howard

When she was younger she wanted to be a nurse. She once said her chinchilla ate her homework because she didn’t have it finished. Her biggest pet peeve is when people chew with their mouths open and close to her ear. She has a bad habit of biting her nails. Her greatest accomplishment so far in her life was having a stable job since she was 14. Three words she uses to describe herself are happy, attitude, and a reader. The one thing she can’t live without is her phone.
