Senior Spotlight-Tobey Lee

Tobey likes to play video games in his free time. His most valued possessions are every gold pin that he has earned. If he could travel to one place in the world, he would like to travel to Japan. In the next 10 years he sees himself working hard to buy a house. Three things Tobey wants to accomplish in his lifetime are to get married, buy a house, and have kids. If he had one wish it would be to be successful in life.

Tobey has been busy throughout school. He has been in FCCLA, One Act, and Spring Play for five years, Basketball, Golf, and Choir for four years, and Band for eight years. He is a very hard-working kid. He never uses excuses for not getting work done, he said he didn’t want to fall behind. Out of all of his extracurricular activities, he says that choir is the one that he enjoys the most because he likes to sing.  The most valuable lesson he has learned is to always work hard. Mr. Deutsch has been one of his favorite teachers. Tobey says Mr. D is really fun in class and that is why U.S. History is one of his favorite classes. Tobey said that his best memory from his days in school was when he got to start driving himself to school. His favorite memory from his senior year was going to Rapid City for All-State Choir.

Tobey’s most challenging task as a senior has been trying to balance his schedule. If he could do one thing differently during school, he said he would have joined more activities in middle school. Friends will be what Tobey misses the most when he graduates. The advice that he would give to underclassmen is to go out for activities.

Tobey will be going to college for a degree in Business.
